Mindset Performance Lacrosse, TJ Holston

Shooting & Dodging are the backbone of creating offense—and mastering both makes you a constant threat on the field. In this training, you’ll learn how to shoot with power and accuracy from every angle—whether it’s a step-down rip, a shot on the run, or a quick finish near the crease—by focusing on a strong base, proper rotation, and consistent follow-through. At the same time, you’ll develop dodging skills that force defenses to react, from splits and rolls to hitches, question marks, and inside rolls. With an emphasis on footwork, body control, and reading the defense, you’ll stay a triple threat to pass, shoot, or create. High-rep, game-like drills will sharpen both your shooting mechanics and dodging moves, building confidence, consistency, and the ability to finish under pressure.

Our Private Training sessions are built for players who want individualized attention and a program tailored to their specific needs. With one-on-one coaching, every rep has a purpose—whether it’s refining shooting form, improving footwork, sharpening stick skills, or building lacrosse IQ. These sessions allow athletes to progress at their own pace while receiving direct feedback and corrections in real time. Designed for both boys and girls, Private Training ensures that every player leaves with more confidence, improved technique, and a clear plan for continued development.

Our Mentorship Program is the most comprehensive training path we offer, combining everything in Complete Training with ongoing support and film review to accelerate development. Athletes work directly with a coach who provides personalized guidance, goal setting, and accountability, ensuring steady progress both on and off the field. In addition to structured skill and performance training, players receive film breakdowns that sharpen lacrosse IQ—learning how to recognize patterns, anticipate plays, and make smarter decisions during games. Available for both boys and girls, the Mentorship Program is designed for athletes who are serious about their growth and want year-round coaching, feedback, and support to reach their full potential.

TJ Holston.

Founder and Owner

I started playing lacrosse as a freshman in high school—easily one of the worst players on the JV team. But with a background in other sports and natural athleticism, I quickly fell in love with the game. I set a goal to start on varsity and earn a college scholarship, and through relentless work—individual sessions, agility training, and time with a personal trainer—I made it happen. I became a First Team All-County player my senior year and went on to be a 4x All-Conference D3 Attack/Midfielder, finishing with over 200 career points.

Now, with over 10 years of coaching and 10 years of playing experience, I’ve spent two decades in the game. I'm also a NASM-certified personal trainer specializing in athletic performance. I do this because I’m passionate about coaching, developing, and mentoring young athletes—helping them unlock their full potential both on and off the field.
